Andrew Duhon

July is nearly upon us and what better way to end June than with the wonderful voice of Andrew Duhon. Andrew Duhon is a songwriter from New Orleans, a teller of stories with an undeniable voice, weighted and soulful. Duhon would claim writing as his focal medium, but the listener will hear a singer with something to say, tunes rooted in the American songwriting tradition, tinged with that New Orleans feeling without having to say so.

Andrew has released 3 recordings, the latest of which, ‘The Moorings’, was nominated for a Grammy in 2014 for ‘Best Engineered Album’. He tours as The Andrew Duhon Trio with Myles Weeks on upright bass and Maxwell Zemanovic on drums, and tours solo in the UK for a portion of the Summer. He has played Bonnarroo, Austin City Limits, Jazz Fest, Voodoo Fest, and has opened for Chris Stapleton, George Ezra, Patti Griffin, Martin Sexton, Donovan Frankenreiter, Carbon Leaf.. His next record is due to be released at the end of ’16.
