The curtains have closed on our 2017 season of Micro Gatherings.  It was a real pleasure to meet so many promoters from the Network face to face. Emails are great, but nothing beats real life connections.

A big thank you to those of you who joined us, and to those who didn’t manage it this time – we hope to do more in the future, don’t worry. Why wouldn’t we with the added bonus of all this beautiful scenery to take in en-route?

At each session we explored the new Tourbook  – it was great to see everyone finding their way around, discovering more about their fellow promoters, as well as performers who are available to tour. We’re looking forward to seeing some Collections popping up, filled with programming ideas and potential tours.

Lindsay and Sheena from The Rural Touring Agency also delivered a super session on connecting with our audiences involving some hands on activities – see our wee illustrations profiling our audiences here:

Thanks again to all those who hosted, helped, and travelled from a far.
