Would you like to develop your skills and network while supporting culture in The Highlands & Islands? New Board Members are being sought to join the existing Board of Trustees for The Touring Network
Board membership is a fulfilling and engaging experience, and Board Members are highly valued for the vital role they fulfil in providing professional guidance and governance for the organisation. The board is friendly and informal whist striving to maintain the highest possible standards in business.
Board Members help to increase the visibility and profile of the company locally and nationally and ensures the company has the capacity and skills to deliver its plans effectively.
Board Membership is voluntary and unpaid and previous board experience is not required. Meetings are held quarterly, online or in the Highlands or Argyll and it is also expected that Board Members attend some additional events. Travel Costs will be remunerated.
Reflecting The Touring Network’s commitment to equality and diversity we would like to achieve greater diversity within our board and to reflect the community in which it is based. Applications are welcomed from all suitably skilled and experienced people and especially those from groups with protected characteristics covered by the Equality Act 2010.
In order to ensure our board reflects the community we serve, priority is currently being given to Promoter / Venue Members to apply, however, we welcome any performers to note interest.
We also welcome board members with expertise in the following areas: Legal, Digital & Marketing (e.g. sales, commerce, income generation, PR or branding)
If you are interested please contact Co-Directors, Claire and Rhiannon, to discuss the role informally and in confidence.
Application deadline 30th Nov 2020.
