The Touring Network turns 20 this year, and we are inviting you to share your #EPICSTAGESTORY with us on social media

Do you have stories to tell of performers touring the region, or of hosting them in your communities? Did you go to a particularly special gig, theatre, comedy or dance performance in one of our remote venues across the Highlands and Islands?

Are you a performer who has a story to tell of your rural touring adventure? An epic journey against the odds to get to your show? A wonderful community who were incredible hosts?

ccelebrates the lives of those who have transformed, connected or programmed in our communites over the past 20 years and more.  Share your story now by posting words and pictures on social media and adding #EPICSTAGESTORY to it.

__________

*an #EPICSTAGESTORY is a story about a live event in a rural community that you were part of as a community member, a promoter, a visiting performer or as an audience member.  It is a story about a stand-out performance you hosted; your first gig in a disused barn; your disaster story of a performer not making the gig due to adverse weather (one that we can laugh about now!);  It’s your story of pride about a community pulling together to put on the show!

But most of all – Its an #EPICSTAGESTORY personal to you, and it’s one we want to celebrate as part of our Anniversary year.
