Aiseag

1 July, 2014 @ 7:30 pm

Free

Mary Ann Kennedy has been inspired by the communities, culture and connections on her own doorstep, celebrating an international dynamic by hooking up with one of Canada’s most respected composers Scott MacMillan, Watercolour’s resident producer Nick Turner, and Gaelic poet Aonghas MacNeacail to create a unique new work which will place the Highlands and the Gaelic language and culture right at the heart of the Games’ celebrations. This performance is a small scale version of a large performance toured in 2013 in partnership with the New Music Biennial, and includes composer Colin Grant.

This event is free but any donations will be welcomed on the door.
