Jazz @ Lunchtime : Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer

Melodic improvisations on jazz standards and original compositions in a special Jazz @ Lunchtime gig! Ian Millar and Dominic Spencer will also be playing in the evening at John o’Groats book festival – information coming soon.They have had enormous success over many years during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where their successful fringe show ‘Jazz at Lunchtime’  at the Novotel in Lauriston Place has entertained thousands of people, with many sell-out shows. A number visitors to the Edinburgh Fringe from all over the world have returned year after year to see them perform.Based in Edinburgh, the duo has regularly and extensively toured throughout the UK. They have embarked on many rural tours, often bringing jazz for the first time to remote communities, performing in intimate settings. The beautiful Scottish scenery that they have seen on their travels has inspired the writing of many pieces of music by Ian.
