Nevis Ensemble

Conducted by Holly Mathieson and Jon Hargreaves, this relentlessly energetic group will give 35 concerts in public spaces and community venues on Barra, Vatersay, Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, Berneray, Harris, St Kilda, Lewis and Skye, between 19-28 August. As well as the islands, the orchestra will give performances in Garelochhead, Ardfern, Oban, Kyle of Lochalsh, Fort William and Glasgow.

“Our concert in Craignish Village Hall last August was a definite highlight of the tour, and remains one of the orchestra’s favourite performances to date. We got a really warm welcome from the community, and seeing an audience up singing and dancing during an orchestral concert was really wonderful. We can’t wait to be back!”

Admission is free but donations will be gratefully recieved. There’s no advance booking so come along early for a good seat!
