An evening of Armenian Storytelling and Music from the Edinburgh International Storytelling Festival. Performed by singer Maryem Tollar, playing the Riqq, and storyteller Dawne McFarlane, the narrative combines with Arabic songs to transport us to the time and place of Anaeet, daughter of a shepherd. She gives a pitcher of water to a hot dusty traveller who falls in love with her. Please note that this event will be held in the Moray Art Centre and runs 50 minutes.

The Dime Notes dig back into the blues-drenched sounds of clarinet-driven 1920's New Orleans jazz, unearthing a repertoire of stomps, blueses, and forgotten gems of the era from musicians such as Johnny Dodds, Jelly Roll Morton and Red Nichols.The band grew out of a duo project with Chris Barber's long-time clarinetist David Horniblow and American pianist Andrew Oliver, who arrived in London in 2013 and met David at a gig.
