Did you know that (almost) every month, The Touring Network team meet in various locations across Scotland to celebrate our members activities, make suggestions for internal improvements and, most importantly, see each other face to face?
I mean – why would you know? We’ve never told you! But things are changing!
In an attempt to connect further with the Network, by being in the same room with our members on a more regular basis, we have decided to share our team meeting dates and locations in advance. So that any of our members who want to come for a cuppa and a catch up before or after our internal meeting – whether to discuss their membership, seek advice, or just say “hello” and have a natter – are welcome to do so.
To get the ball rolling, we are looking to schedule in the next six meet-up dates and locations, and wonder if you’d be interested in hosting?
Our meetings are generally on a Tue/Wed, and the following are our provisional dates for the next 6 months:
- Wed 14 Nov
- Wed 12 Dec / Inverness
- Wed 16 Jan
- Wed 13 Feb
- Wed 13 Mar
- Wed 17 Apr
Ideally you will have a venue or small meeting space, and where possible be accessible by public transport. There will also be tea/coffee making facilities (and cake!!), and somewhere nearby that the team can have lunch. Wifi is also always handy, but isn’t essential.
Maybe you’ve got an event on the same day that we could come to as well?
In return for hosting us, we can provide you/the venue with a small room hire fee.
