Did you know that (almost) every month, The Touring Network team meet in various locations across Scotland to celebrate our members activities, make suggestions for internal improvements and, most importantly, see each other face to face?
I mean – why would you know? We’ve never told you! But things are changing!
In an attempt to connect further with the Network, by being in the same room with our members on a more regular basis, we have decided to share our team meeting dates and locations in advance. So that any of our members who want to come for a cuppa and a catch up before or after our internal meeting – whether to discuss their membership, seek advice, or just say “hello” and have a natter – are welcome to do so.
Our meetings are generally on a Tue/Wed, and the following are dates for the next 6 months:
- Wed 14 Nov – Isle of Skye, SEALL
- Wed 12 Dec – Inverness in the afternoon (Facebook Event)
- Wed 21st Jan – Glasgow in the evening (Facebook Event)
- Fri Feb 1st – Glasgow to coincide with Showcase Scotland / Celtic Connections (Facebook Event)
- Tue 12th Mar – Dunoon Burgh Hall, Argyll- (Facebook Event)
- Wed 24th Apr – Highland Region – (Facebook Event)

We are are always looking for hosts for our meet-up and internal meeting, so if you’d be interested in hosting read on…
Ideally you will have a venue or small meeting space, and where possible be accessible by public transport. There will also be tea/coffee making facilities (and cake!!), and somewhere nearby that the team can have lunch. Wifi is also always handy, but isn’t essential.
Maybe you’ve got an event on the same day that we could come to as well?
In return for hosting us, we can provide you/the venue with a small room hire fee.
