It is with great sadness that we have learned that Caroline Hewat passed away on Thursday 17th December.

Caroline had been involved with PAN since the early days, as well as being an active member of The Touring Network through her involvement with Cromarty Arts Trust and the Cromarty & Resolis Film Society. Earlier this year, she and the team at the Cromarty Arts Trust hosted our annual Spring Gathering, and made us all feel extremely welcome.

We send our very best wishes to her family, and to the community in Cromarty.

The funeral will take place on Friday 8th January at 2pm in St Martin’s Churchyard (Cullicudden New Cemetery) off the B9163 at the top of Cullicudden strait, and from 3pm onwards in Resolis Hall for a Celebration of Caroline’s life with music, food/drink and friendship.

Flowers are welcome if you feel so inclined although the family would like to start a Trust in Caroline’s name to support artists in the Black Isle and would ask that you save your money for that. Colour was so important in Caroline’s life, so no need to wear black. All of you who were close friends are welcome at the graveside and the family look forward to meeting everyone at Resolis later.
