We have been working very hard over recent months to ensure that Tourbook is developed to become the very best tool possible to assist the touring and booking of shows around the Highlands. Whilst we have been really pleased to see it get to the stage it is currently at, we have also been aware of the frustrations faced by users. However, we have been confident that, with some further investment, the tool has the potential to do a lot more to make the life of the promoter and the touring performer simpler.
We are pleased to announce that, thanks to the Enterprise Ready Fund and Creative Scotland, we now have the £100K investment needed to develop Tourbook to the next level. This investment will also allow us to explore new areas of functionality within Tourbook, all with the aim of making your lives as promoters and performers much easier.
The first step on our Tourbook roadmap is to work with our initial developers to smooth out some of the most important issues that are being faced by Tourbook users. We are also working on growing a team to deliver the next phase of development, which will enable us to be more responsive to ideas and issues, as well as to be able to sell Tourbook to other rural networks throughout the UK.
We would like to thank you all for your patience, and for all the feedback that you have given us since Tourbook was launched last year. The tool was created for you, as rural promoters in the Highlands, and we hope that you are as excited as we are to see it be developed into a really useful tool.
