In May 2014, Bodysurf Scotland will be bringing an unforgettable programme of world-class contemporary performance to the idyllic setting of Findhorn. From the outrageous to the beautiful, the innovative and the bold, enjoy dance, performance, films, talks and special events by internationally renowned artists.
The festival is a key project by Bodysurf Scotland and seeks to draw new audiences to dance and to grow the already increasing awareness amongst local and international audiences alike.
Festival Director and Director of Budysurf Scotland, Karl Jay Lewin, says
“We have been programming an incredible array of dance over the past ten years – performances led by local and international artists and teachers who have brought together established dance lovers, educators, audiences new to contemporary dance, and visitors to this unique area of Scotland. I wanted to create a festival programme that brings all these elements together, exploring edges and pushing the boundaries of the art form in a refreshing and relaxed environment.”
