Following the recent inquiry into Creative Scotland’s RFO funding process, the Scottish Parliament’s Cultural Tourism Europe and External Relations (CTEER) Committee has published a letter available here which has statements from organisations and individuals including The Touring Network and longstanding Touring Network member Jenny MacFie.
The committee has stated that it will scrutinise Creative Scotland’s plans for the future, as its ‘decision making process in relation to touring theatre and dance companies falls well below the standard that is expected of a non-departmental body’.
