You said: “I find it difficult to attend during the week” 

NEW: This year, The Gathering is taking place Fri-Sun instead

You said: “I wanted to hear what other members were up to; or in the case of performer members; get a flavour for what it is they do with a live slot” –

NEW: This year, we’ll be making space on the Friday evening for members – whether promoters or performers – to share what they do with everyone.

You said: “It costs too much for me to get there” 

NEW: we’ve raised the travel bursary limit from £50 to £70 – if the cost of travelling to the Gathering is a barrier for you to attend, please do get in touch to request a travel bursary.

You said: “Contact time felt too formal” 

NEW: rather than a trade-fair style networking session after the showcase performances, instead there will be a much more relaxed and informal opportunity to find out more about the performers and their work.

You said: “It felt too far between the accommodation and the main event venues” 

NEW: this year the accommodation and venues for the event are within walking distance of each other. Rooms at Sabhal Mòr Ostaig are limited though, so make sure you book early to secure a bed close by!

We’ll be launching the full programme and showcase artists in the next couple of weeks – until that time – please take a look now at the programme sofar, our host venue and whats in store for the night-time socials!
