Our network is made up of over 60 different promoter groups, as well as around 15 performer members.
PROMOTER MEMBERS
We support promoters working in communities across Highland, Argyll & Bute, Moray, Orkney, Shetland and Perthshire, who collectively programme 900 events each year.

A lot of our promoter members operate a little differently to commercial promoters as they need to rely on funding bodies to sustain their programming. Rural promoters have a smaller pool of audiences to pull from, making profitable programming a challenge. A lot of our promoters are volunteers, with programming and promoting a hobby or community engagement pursuit on top of their usual money paying jobs. Time and money are both lacking, which is where The Touring Network offer support by means of easy to access resources as well as financial support by way of our GO SEE and Supported Programme funding pots.
